Are you traveling alone or with someone else. If you are traveling with someone else won't the airlines let each of you take a dog in a carry on carrier. You would have to pay, of course. When we traveled like that both my Mother and I would have our dogs in a carrier and in the cabin. Problem is, they only allow a couple dogs on the plane at the same time so you have to be sure you can book them both.
