Excited but nervous new Yorkie Mom Tomorrow we welcome a new little Yorkie angel to our family. I have a 2 year old Bichon Yorkie (Brodie) and am a little nervous for him - I don't want him to think he is any less special or loved. Is there anything that really stands out that I should know when introducing his little sister?
I have been wanting a little sister for Brodie for a long time and I think we finally found her. She is a rescue from the huge puppy mill bust in Quebec (527 dogs) recently. Actually, she was born in the shelter just after they were all removed from the mill. She was only 5 ounces when her Mom and three siblings went to their foster Mom's place.
I can't even begin to share how excited we are to finally get her. I have spent alot of time on this site in the past two years (just viewing) and I think alot of the infomation I learned from this site will help as we go forward. |
