I haave 9 year old pom 12 lbs who is never been a sweetheart. I got Cali in August at 9 weeks old. At first Maya hatedthe puppy.. Now 5 months later, they have their moment always over a cookie or greenie but will lay next to each other. Maya will even put up with Cali jumping all over he most times. I just always keep an eye on them. I can tell by Maya's growl if she's had enough. The other morning the pom actually came over to Cali on teh bed and laid next to her. So some dogs take longer especially older dogs. |
