I have a shih tzu, i call her my second hand dog
her owner moved from the UK to Germany with her then she wanted to come back to the UK but she didn't know that suki had to have a blood test before being allowed back in the uk so she had to leave her in a kennels in France, the owner was only meant to leave her for 6 months but when she came back to the UK her husband had sold there home so she had to go in to rented housing and could not find anywhere willing to allow pets so suki was in kennels for 13 months until she was homed to me and she was only 18 months old
the owner arranged everything though, she got her brother in law to drive from Germany to the UK to pick up suki's toys and bed then drive back to France to get suki and then drive back to the uk to me...all in one day
