What she said... and why is the vet asking $1000.00 just to spay her?
I wouldn't think there would be any rush to have her spayed, just watch out for Pyometra (infected Uterus), then it'll be an emergency spay and will cost more.
$700 for the cryptorchid... depends on where the missing testicle is. My cat was crypto but his was just under the skin on his abdomen, so the vet only charged me about $20 more than a normal neuter. If it's not visible, then it's like a spay, they'll have to look inside the abdomen for it.
My MIL Sheltie is crypto too quote for him was $300.00
