Ahia used to be bad about brushing when she first came to us. (8 wks) I was insistant. she loves being brushed now. when i am brushing Buckeye she will jump up, get in my way, take her hand (paw) and move the brush towards her. she loves it. I didn't think I would ever get her used to being brushed but as time went on she learned it wasn't all that bad.
Also when her puppies were new born I started right away brushing to get them used to it along with running my finger along the gums to help with the teeth brushing when that was needed. (I hope it helped with the new owners)
