I think correcting people on a public forum is rude. I think the person doing the correcting feels small and this maybe their one talent so they feel bigger by correcting others.

I am so self conscience of the fact that I am a horrible speller. I am Dyslexia and have a learning disability. It took many years before I had the confidence to know I am very intelligent ...it is just a learning disability. Like being color blind or something. I have learned some coping skills to deal with the disability. I just cant seam to make words " mine" and Remember them, i also have a Difficult with Pronuncation. My dh says it is my "hillbilly" accent but with being in Miami 26 years I really can't blame that anymore.


By the way I have a master degree in education and have been. Teacher for 24 years

I think there is fine balance of helping people learn and tearing people down... When ever you hurt someone's feeling in the process you have done something g wrong.
