It may take awhile for him to adjust to the new food since it is a LOT richer than the Ol' Roy. The probiotics are a good idea. Or you can try a spoonful of plain yogurt daily. That seemed to help my dogs a lot. If things don't get better after a few weeks, you should maybe try a different food to see how that works.
