I no longer walk her in the dog park because of this. It happened once and i scooped Bella up and just thought it was that dog and then it happened a few more times (different days with different dogs) and now i either bring her in her bag and don't let her down or leave her at home. I know how dangerous this is and that's why I don't put Bella in a situation like that anymore but i do want her to be social with other dogs and not just have to be confined to the sidewalk. I want to be able to let Bella enjoy any kind of park like Ruby does without having to worry about other peoples dogs. My dogs are always on leash and i never let them just go up to any strange dog because I also am very aware about disease but i'm also not going to keep my dog's in a bubble either. I have never had this problem with Ruby and she has met quite a few friends there.
I just wanted to know if anyone knew why dogs acted this way with Bella and not Ruby? The only thing i can think of is that Bella is still young and they might sense that. |
