I am 100% willing to change the way I have trained the dog. in the past with larger dogs that I have had, it was easy and they were not scared. the dog pees you show it the pee and say no, followed by taking it out. this dog clearly it is not working so I need a new approach.

I simply gave an honest description of what I had been trying to do out of desparation because honestly I liked the dog better when she peed out of excitement. Now that shes scared of me it makes me feel s**tty for making her so sad. I would like to turn it around and hopefully get rid of the excited peeing as well but the first thing I would like to work on is the fear. peeing will likely only happen on the floor at our feet if I can get the fear away.

What I have been trying to do now is keep her with me, all around the house when I am home. have her sit with me play with me whatever.
She seems more comfortable with me when I am seated as apposed to standing. but that is impractical sometimes as I am usually up and about lol
Sorry that I sounded "cold" I guess I just am unhappy with the entire situation and would like to undo the fear I put into the little thing.

As my fiance put it though "your a big man, if you yelled at me like that id probably pee my pants too" I have asked people I know for advice and they seem to think size combined with a low growl of a voice and that dogs somehow sense that you are angry even if I dont try to show it is whats wrong

Sometimes a different tone of voice works if I make it higher in combo with geting down lower.

Just want some advice guys, ps the dog is happy most of the time, just not when im home alone with her. but she follows my fiance around, even plays with me sometimes but it takes a lot of convincing
