Real men love their Yorkies. Guys who are, lets say, insecure? They are the ones with the German Shepards and Pit Bulls. I will walk mine anywhere anytime and dont feel the least bit self conscious about it.
I dont like calling myself a "daddy" to the yorksters, though. I never felt comfortable with that analogy. I prefer to think of us as a pack. But I would never refer to them as "Rats" either! And as far as cuddling, I admit to petting and hugging my adorable yorkie pack on a regular basis; its good for my health and well being and they are just so darn cute
My female loves the attention, but the male is usually much happier playing non-stop fetch, which we do now for at least an hour every day. That is not to say that he doesn't appreciate a good tummy rub or scratch behind the ears now and again (as long as it doesn't get in the way of fetch)
