Thank you again everyone for your input. I was wrong about the 50% at AT&T applying to IPhones, but I should be able to get a discount on any phone as a long-time customer looking to upgrade.
I think I will take a look at both types of phone while I am there.
My brother has both types - IPhone and android, one work and one personal, and he has good and bad things to say about both.
