Did not like the Droid at all personally. Everyone I know that had one actually switched from it to the iPhone - loved it at first and then after a few months hated it. Most started acting up.
Overall, the iPhone CAN do a lot, but it's very user friendly and simple to use. |
My brother-in-law, my husband and myself have all had Samsung Android phones for over two years and are happy with that format of phone. I do like some Apple products and have nothing against the iphone in genereal, Apple just has some built in limitations from a software standpoint that don't exist with the Android format. Apple pre-determines what you can and can't do with your phone and what software you can run.
That is why it is important to consider how you want to use your phone. Techies tend to gravitate to Android phones, but that is certainly not a hard and fast rule by any means. Samsung smart phones have out sold iphones for some reason, (all Android phones are not created equal though) but there are still loads of people who really like the way the iphone works. There is something to fit everybody's personal tastes.
My brother-in-law, husband and myself all love our Samsung Android phones but my kids all love their iphones. It really comes down to personal preferences and how you use your phone etc.
