Nature's Variety is a much better food than Canidae (unless talking about the new grain free line). It is also a richer food as mentioned before so you won't need to feed as much of it. If your dog is not acting hungry, she is probably getting enough. Keep an eye on her and adjust accordingly if necessary. We used to feed Nature's Variety all the time, but have been experimenting with other foods since the price of NV has gone up lately.
