I have never wanted my children or my pets to cause problems for anyone else. They may be small, and I know they're probably harmless, but they still have no right to infringe on the rights of other people.

My uncle was a mailman. He always said that it was the little dogs that were the worst as far as causing him concern and interrupting his getting his work done.

I love my animals. I have had small dogs and larger dogs and cats and have never wanted any of them to be disrespectful of other people's rights or property. I would immediately do whatever I need to do to keep my dog from bothering the mailman or any other visitor to my house.

Where is your dog that he can be such a bother to a visitor? Is he outside alone? If your yard is fenced - at least the mailman is coming in and out. Couldn't your dog get loose or be taken?

I do not have a fence, and no my dog does not go out alone. He has every "right" to sit on his front porch any time he wants..it is not someone elses property. He is infringing on nothing. The damn mail man got pissed because Gizmo barked at him when he came to the door with the mail. Like I said I picked him up when the man came to the door, I was in the swing. As far as visitors being infringed upon, this does not happen. I work and my kids are in the bed most of the time. Gizmo is a great guy and serves his purpose to eat, sleep, play and be loved on. For any chance that someone might feel infringed upon at my house they are quite welcome to use the door. Get a grip, I was just joking around with the letter I got in the mail...and I still think it's funny, as did a lot of other people.
