I agree, it sounds like there could be an infection going on. Often when there is an infection the anals can fill up again in less then 24 hrs. I have a little one who suffers from seasonal allergies & that makes his anals fill up quickly. My vet gives him antibiotic & I have to empty his anals daily while he's taking the antibiotic & the infection clears up but without the daily expressing the antibiotic does not usually completely clear it up.
