Gizmo has his first appt. at the groomers this Wednesday. Is there anything I should make sure I ask for? It appears to me his wiry puppy hair is growing out and softer hair is growing in. My goal is to grow his hair long as soon as possible. I am hoping that all the wiry puppy hair will go away but since he is a mix that maybe not happen. I was thinking of just having her give him a bath and only trim where needed to give him more do a Yorkie look. I also plan to ask her opinion on what type of dog he is. She is a mobile groomer who has over 30 years experience. My next door neighbors uses and love her. The minminun she charges to come to your house is $45.00 but since I am disabled I figured it was worth it. She told me if this is truly his first time he probably not going to like it but would get use to it. He allows me to brush and comb him with no problem so depending on how he likes a bath he should be OK. Any suggestions or hints would be appreciated.
