I think the title of the post "I'm getting a mixed breed . . . AND I'M PROUD' was very 'in your face' when you must be quite familiar with the position of the vast majority of YT on mixed breeds regarding the need to adopt/rescue vs. purchase.

I think YT'ers have been very supportive of KendraE in the past. I'm sure that will not change.

I have seen some of the cutest little mixed breed puppies and I have seen some experimentation go wrong.

I can't advocate the purchase of a mixed breed but I can celebrate one that has arrived despite my initial feelings on the subject.
I agree. Maybe the intent was not there, but it sure did seem that way. I was quite frankly shocked at the thread.

No one would have said much of anything if only a thread had been started celebrating the new pup. They would have all been supportive and shared her happiness. I am sure they will anyway. This was all SO unnecessary imho. Just get your new pup and tell everyone...all of the jargon about your wonderful breeder and how you don't care what anyone thinks is highly offensive. Hard for me to comprehend how she did not know people would react that way.

Kendra, my suggestion is to close this thread and simply share your good news in another thread. This thread has seen it's day if you ask me...of course you did not ask me. But, I am just like any other person and do have my opinion.
