You basically bought a rehome, and no papers come with that. Three hundred dollars is a good price for a rehome, that's what many rescues charge. Papers don't have to come with any dog, but if a breeder is advertising being registered with a certain club, papers should come with the dog if you are buying from the original breeder. Is there anyone you can ask to see if it was a "Continental Kennel Dog Club" or if it was a "Canadian Kennel Club dog"?
