So in my opinion, you did at least want to keep your options open, and therefor were purchasing a "breeding" bitch for $150. Wow. I commend you for following up with the breeder. But you have now bred her, and in all good faith you should likely pay this breeder the $300. Have an exchange of money for filled out paperwork.

I wish a healthy whelp and do hope you have a knowledgeable vet and mentor in place, you will need both, as a novice breeder.

And for future reference belly bands and diapers are not contraceptive gear. You must keep your dogs separated, crated, and in separate rooms, exercised separately etc, to insure no OOPSEY pregnancies. BTW this should be for at least 5wks
