I was wondering if you could give me some help on the bath part. I try to put cotton in the ears to keep water out and they always shake them out. I can't tell if I am getting water in the ears or not. Also I need some tips on cleaning the face without getting soap in the eyes. I use a tearless shampoo for the face but I am probably not getting the face clean enough for fear of getting too close to the eyes.

Thanks!
I used to put cotton in Layla's ears- I dont' anymore. I figure the SMALL amount of water I am getting in there (unless your dog is going underwater) she will shake out when she shakes (that's part of the beauty of shaking) so don't worry about too much unless they are going underwater.

To clean Layla's face- I usually just use a wet warm cloth and not usually shampoo. It is not worth it when I try and get the shampoo out and get up putting water up her nose However, when I bath Layla, I don't do it in the sink, I bring her in the shower with me. Because of the nature of the shower, her face ends up getting wet and clean that way. I hope that helps!
