We (My partner and I) have thought of everything that could of caused the issue, we have not changed our washing powder, softner, we hoover the house daily and never feed the dog any human food, he only eats Royal Canin Yorkshire Terrier (adult small) We have allways had a lot of time to play with the dog but we had a child 3 months ago, we still give him plenty of play time but am wondering if this has anything to do with his problem?
The vet bill for all the tests is going to cost between £600 - £800 and the issue is still not sorted.
Therefore I have opened this thread to ask for help because I do not know what to try next. |
I have read about Yorkies getting the "itches" on regular RC I am not saying this is a bad food from what I have read soom seem to get itchy on it. I have Taycie on a RX RC diet and her itchies have calmed down immensely. Follow your vets advice with food and see what happens.
What shampoos/conditioners are you using on him? I really like Virbrac Epi -Soothe. This really has helped with Taycie's dry skin. It is very mild and gentle and not heavily perfumed. This alone helped Taycie tremendously. As much as I loved the super yummy smells it really aggravated her super sensitive skin.
