Congratulations on your new puppy. With a good, mild shampoo, you could bath every day without doing harm. Coat Handler is probably the mildest recommended by Yorkie exhibitors and breeders. My favorite is Biogroom. Espree is also good and I think it might still be available at Petco. Most other good products, like Chris Christensen, are only available online unless you happen to live near a great boutique.
I bathe my guys about every 7-10 days.
