Tashi is 5.5 and has two smalls and two extra smalls. If you have a real tough chewer, buy the black one, it is harder to destroy :P
I fill hers with mashed home made dog-food and top it on each end with peanut butter.
I freeze them because it takes them longer to get the contents out :P
If i'm feeling lazy , I use a small sandwich bag and cut off a corner tip, put a teaspoon or less of PB in there, Squeeze a bit of that into the kong , then i squish the kong together so that all of the walls of the inside are coated but it is still hollow and I freeze that. She tries to lick all of the peanut butter out of the inside. She's not much of a chewer anyway. That keeps her busy for about 20-30 min :P |
