My little guy is extremely rough on his toys. We LOVE his Kong. They have the Kong extreme (black instead of red) for super-strong chewers. We have both the regular red and the extreme black. Levi has never been able to chew through either.
He'll occasionally carry the Kong around and play with it even when nothing is in it...but adores when it's filled with goodies. If you do a YT search, there are lots of threads with good ideas about what to put in a Kong. We usually just put his regular kibble in the Kong and seal it with a tiny bit of peanut butter. Freezing isn't necessary - just makes it last longer!
