I love miso! But now I'm wondering where the HECK I am eating, because it always comes with a spoon! Even Asian BF never said anything not using a spoon with miso...I doubt he even knew (Korean, not Japanese, but he still was pretty culturally competent haha). |
Chinese and korean always use spoons, so he probably never gave it a second thought. I think you only get a spoon when you order noodle soup. Like if I order sushi and miso, I never get a spoon. But if I order udon, then I get those big chinese style spoons.
