Dont beat yourself up.. same thing happened to Smokey, but I didnt give him from the roasted turkey. I boiled the neck, giblets and wings with NO seasonings for stock and gave him that over the course of the weekend. Too much of a good thing per the vet.
Still getting used to portionizing for such a tiny belly, but all is well again in Smokeytown.
