Thank you for all of the great info. I really did like the Wellness Super5mix but it had garlic, which is an iffy ingredient. You are right, who knows what 'all natural' really means! lol. I will do some research on this Simple Solutions, it sounds promising. Thank so much!

My foster baby is on a food made by Wellness, and the good thing about it is it only has five ingredients, so you can narrow down what the allergens can be. There are no dairy products, no corn, no wheat, no soy, no eggs, no artificial preservatives, no colors and no flavors. It's called Simple Solutions, and I think it can be helpful if you want to find out if an ingredient is bothering your dog. If the allergies go away with this food, you could eventually very slowly and one at a time add more things to the diet.
Here's what the manufacturer says:
My foster baby had extreme digestion problems and allergies and this food really helped him. The only thing bad about it it's kind of large kibble and he'll swallow it whole, so you either have chop it up.
It does contain Tomato Pumice which is a byproduct, but I don't think this is a bad ingredient. |
