This sounds like a case in my neighborhood, kinda. There is this American Bulldog(big dog) that is left outside ALL DAY from 6 am- 8pm or later and has an electric fence and her name is Claire and she just hides in the bushes all day, or chews because she was nevery properly trained. She is getting "good" care, but left out ALL DAY! I talked to him because Bailey likes to boss Claire around by playing with her but then if she gets too rowdy Bailey gets upset
... But I feel SO bad for this dog. He said that his ex girlfriend and him bought her and then he got "stuck" with her. He keeps saying that he wants to sell her and get a diffrent dog that is more well behaved! I was shocked. I was like (in my head), Dude: it isn't the dog that's bad; its YOU! The dog isn't going to get better even if you get a diffrent dog if you don't put the time and effort in to it. She chews EVERYTHING! Birdhouses, chairs, desks, sofas. He throws old furniture into the yard for her to attack. I feel TERRIBLE for her. I always tell Bailey she is so spoiled and she would be sad if she was in any other house. LOL!
