It's a struggle every single day to get it zipped up.
I don't think Oz is trying to escape. I think he's just bored and that's his way of saying "I don't wanna be here all by myself!!" I give him toys and lots of things to chew on, but he doesn't touch any of it when he's in the playpen while we're at work. He just sleeps or picks apart the playpen.

Thankfully, Oz is not a climber or escape artist. He's 8 months old and we've been using the playpen for many months. He could jump out of it, but he hasn't figured that out.

Good idea! I will try that out of raising up both doors. I hate that the zippers cause you trouble. I bet ours will too. But maybe it will be ok just for travel. She already has a crate that is her 'doggy condo' (LOL) in our house. I just hope she will accept this for use every now and then. I will try your idea and leave both doors open and let her get used to it in the coming weeks. We are not leaving until the 23rd so that gives me a bit to acclimate her to it.
