The first one we have and Tilly goes crazy in it. It was half folded and upside down when I left her for 20 min in it!! She is a climber too so the 2nd wouldnt work for her. Keegan and Fufu stay in puppy play pens when we leave and they are perfect in then. The second I would love for them. Just depends on how your furbaby is what will and wont work.
