ZoE was probably about 2 1/2 lbs and 11 weeks old when she first scaled the wall.
Prior to that she was in a very old Superyard XT that I'd had from from previous yorkie. I bought the Iris pen because I thought it would "look" better sitting in my living room. I used it maybe two days....what a waste of money.
After that I didn't bother with a play pen, I just gated off the hallway, so she just had access to the living room, kitchen & dining room. By 12 weeks she was fully potty trained, so a few weeks after that she got the run of the house.
If your pup is at all inquisitive/intelligent...I'd look for a playpen with a better design.
