Thanks to you ALL for your suggestions and advice. I do feel so much better. I'll have the preop bloodwork done and see what more the veterinarian has to say Tuesday. Also, will make sure they are using isoflurane. I'll post more after this exam just in case it helps anyone else out there having to make this tough decision.

She is the most wonderful little girl in the world (to me), and having her in my life has just been the biggest blessing. The turds and puddles (we're working on it!), the eye boogers, the "I will eat nothing but freeze-dried not frozen Stella and Chewy's so don't dare run out," and the torn up papers all over just bring me smiles. Oh, and the ankle biting when I walk through the house--how I would miss that! My kids are grown now, and she's my new kid. I spend more money on her clothes, hair doodas, food, and shampoos than I do myself (don't tell my husband!). I guess I'm completely twitterpated, as are all of you poor souls.
