Do the blood work.

Pick a vet who is experienced with spaying small dogs.

Choose the vet you feel will give your baby the best care.

Be sure to ask who will be watching her after recovery-if they want her over night will there be 24 hours care-really why would they not send her home if no one is there to watch her why any vet's still do this is so illogical.

Also I highly recommend a Kiss-E Cone from Hotrod's Mom.

If her not haivng a heat is prior to spay is critical to you then do it sooner than later she is over 2 #, it's under 2# PEOPLE are most concerned with.
