When I first called Pixie and Roxie's breeder, I was nervous having had some not so friendly conversations with show breeders in the past. Another breeder on her told me to call her she might have a puppy available. So I called her and we talked for 45 minutes before she even told me she had any puppies/dogs available. After asking me a lot of questions and having bought a yorkies years ago from a friend of hers ( I didn't know it at the time) she told me she had a 3 year old female that had been breed but was now retired or Pixie who was 13 months old and spayed as well. She said Pixie was 2500 and I said that was fine. Within 3 hours I went to her house to "see" Pixie and came home with her. My husband gave me the money and said take it with just in case lol! The breeder and I talk frequently to this day 5 years later. So you can have a great experience with the right breeder. |
