I have two males. Rubin is neutered and 8 years old. He 100% potty trained. But If I go away from home, he still will pee on my bed quilt, if I leave the door to my bedroom open. This is deliberate marking. So I close the door. The only other time he marks is if a female in heat pees in the house, or another male pees in the house, this is what I refer to as top dog marking. (I have foster doggies in and out) Abba is pee-pad and outside potty trained he does not mark he is 9 months old and is not neutered. I agree With other posters retrain, and use belly bands. Check out all the potty training threads here on YT.
