All I can say is, if I were to feed 1 lb of liver per week, I would immediately know it was too much by loose stool. My advice would be to cut that down to something like a maximum of 10% of weekly feeding. I would also suggest possibly dehydrating chicken and using that for treats as well, as it won't be quite so rich. It's commendable that you are making your own treats.

One pound of any treat for a Yorkie is too much per week.
