After reading all the posts & varying opinions .... everyone just has to use their own best judgement. I have to say that I personally find vinegar the most nausiating thing I have ever smelled in my life .... BUT ..... after a vet visit last Friday I will just gag, hold my nose and use it anyway!! Toto has a very bad yeast infection in her little ear ... vet instructions were: clean ears thoroughly with a mixture of 1/3 vinegar, 2/3 water ... then the medication. Soooooo .... it's gotta be safe for Toto! She stinks to high heaven but if it helps her little ears, I can certainly stand to smell it!
