However, there is nothing wrong with turkey breast fed to dogs. It is one of the leanest sources of protein around and highly digestible.

I would not feed skin or dark meat to a dog given the likelihood of triggering pancreatitis. But white meat turkey is lean and fine for dogs. My dog Barney is a two-time survivor of pancreatitis and he is permitted to eat turkey breast.
