Melanie sounds like she would be perfect for my parents. They have a fenced backyard and own their home. They have been married for 47 years and they have lived in the same house for 35 years. It would be a stable home for sure. I live about 2-3 miles away and see them almost every day. I actually adopted my girl Callie right here on Yorkie Talk. I still send updates to her "other mother." I grew up with dogs my whole life. My mom had a poodle for 16 years until it died of old age. Her second died at 14. They are both burried behind her back fence. I am in Bakersfield, and would probably drive to pick her up if it works out. I can also pay to fly her here if you think it would be easier on her than a long drive? My regular email is
