I wouldn't give him a Dawn bath unless you confirm it is fleas. It could dry him out and make him more irritated. Probably isn't, but possible. I'd be going over him very carefully. They sometimes like to congregate around the butt, so it's always a question when they are itchy back there.

Has be been scratching anywhere else lately? Usually if you find one flea, there are more close by.....
