I don't think you need to go crazy cleaning the whole house either. Just treat your dog....and clean your house as you always would.

You know - your bedding, etc., get washed anyway.

I would vacuum very well and then make sure you throw the vacuum bag away. Put a new clean one in.

It's no problem cleaning his food dishes, etc Wash his clothes if he wears them.

Most of these things won't be much extra work.

I've had pets for one hundred years -- and have had ear mites a couple of times - I got rid of them successfully just using the medicine the vet recommended.
