I am so glad it wasn't worse. Any of us that have had yorkies for awhile can probably relate to this. I was grooming my very old yorkie Abby a few years ago and nicked her toungue She had so few teeth left that it fell out of her mouth at the very instant I was trimming her beard. Off to the vet we went, it healed fine. Just be careful for infection.
