I don't think you can ever know for sure how much the pup will end up weighing as an adult. It really won't matter, as once you get one, you'll love it no matter how big or small he/she is. There has been some other threads on this topic - just search on the forum if you would like more info. My pup is 6 months old and weighs 5.5 lbs. When I first took him to the vet, he said he thought Brutus would end up weighing 7-8 lbs as an adult. I think he may end up a little bigger. His mom was about 8 lbs, and dad 4 lbs - however I have a Yorkie - Pom mix, so that may change things. Congrats on your soon to be baby!
