Today they were playing very well together!! It was so entertaining and I was so happy. They were both playing keep away with a toy and chasing each other and when they were tired they both came and dropped for a nap right on top of me. I feel so much better now, I felt like I was causing Capone so much misery at first and felt really guilty.
I live on the border of two cities in OK and I called both animal control shelters (I have a found sign in both) and one said as long as I have had a sign in a public place with contact information for at least 5 days and the other said 15 days. So by both laws I am technically her new owner and do not have to worry about someone coming and taking her from me. I feel like I've done everything possible to find her family and if someone wanted her back they would have found her. So right after Thanksgiving I will take her to get chipped, fixed and vaccinated and add her documents to my dog file
You're def not the only one who has one of those. In Oklahoma you have to have a license for each dog so I could get in trouble if I don't have her fixed and vetted soon.
