We are going to look at the other one today the one that the mom and dad has papers but were never sent off for registration (CKC) and her being a private breeder i dont think she has a health gurantee but like i said i know a girl that works for her vet and she says all of her dogs are healthy , now this is the smaller of the 2 that were in the litter at 4 weeks he weighed 1 lb 1 oz and the other in the litter weighed 1 lb 5 oz i just worry about the runt issues is there anything i can do to assure this dog is healthy and not going to have runt issues ? |
You say she offers a two year guarantee on on liver shunts and hip dysplasia, but what does that mean, does she give you MONEY to treat the problem, or does she just offer to give you ANOTHER FREE PUPPIE? No girl who works for a vet would know if all the dogs are healthy, that's why vets do tests. Again, please don't consider buying a CKC registered dog, the CKC will register anything, and this is like buying stolen property, in my opinion. You are probably going to have this dog for 10 or more years, don't look for a bargain, and don't be too anxious. Your best guarantee on getting a healthy dog, is going to a really good breeder.
