Time, patience and lots of love is all you can do! I dont push her at all..when she's had enough, whether with the boys, or if I take her somewhere, I take her to where she can be alone or hold her myself.
one more funny thing I didn't share! We have an outside dog, Angie, a 50lb staffordshire bull terrier. Well Daisy wants nothing to do with her. Angie follows us when I walk daisy, sniffs her, in her face, and Daisy just ignores her. Well 2 days ago she must have had enoguh, because when Angie got to close, Daisy got up on her hind legs and swatted Angie in the face! And it wasn't a playful move either...I couldnt help but laugh..saying "and what do you think YOU can do with that size difference!" too funny!
