While I agree with everyone about you needing to take initiative, I do understand that when the finances aren't yours it's hard to really take care of things.
I too, do not know your living/financial situation, but i think should anything start to look even the slightest uncharacteristic you should take her back or to a diff vet. X-rays are expensive, but taking care of your baby and the peace of mind is priceless.
