It's kind of disheartening that we want people to come here and learn from us but if the wrong person asks a question it is considered an invasion of privacy to breeders.
So, I want even more in depth answers.
As a breeder what precautions to you take to limit the danger to your females? What are the kinds of things that can and have gone wrong? What did you learn from it?
Can you explain what makes your program vs. someone with 21 females in their kennell different? What makes buying from you any different?
Just so you know...I know you are different. But I believe the vast majority of people are just starting to learn that petshops are not a good place to go. To me that is just the tip of the iceburg. The treatment and care of females is HUGE. It should be a top concern for every buyer but how can it be if you can't explain the problems you encounter and the care you take?
People show up here every day thinking about breeding or buying a puppy. Part of your mission should be teaching them to come to responsible people. Otherwise this is just a place to share bragging rights and make fun of people you disagree with. |
