If you do not want Teddy sleeping with you do not make the mistake of putting him in bed with you, not even once. I let Thor and Little Bit in bed with us and now we have 5 dogs sleeping with us. Molly sleeps with me because I put her in a x-pen the first night and she was so scared so I just could not bring myself to put her back in there because she is a puppy mill dog and I just could not do that to her. So needless to say I am sure glad we have a king size bed, but since I broke my ankle I have been sleeping downstairs on the hide a bed because I cant do steps and now I have all 5 of them with me in the small bed lol. I would try a stuffed animal, it worked with one of my puppies. They think it is one of their siblings. As far as Teddy being a pure bred, I guess that really does not matter now, he is yours and you love him. |
